Approximately 813 inpatient beds (627 acute, 66 paediatrics, 120 maternity).
Two dedicated orthopaedic wards (1 trauma, 1 elective). Additional mixed outlying surgical wards. There are 24 consultants (including 2 locum consultants), 9 SpRs (3 non-training grades) and 3-4 post CCT fellows.
Both trauma and elective operating are performed at the same site. The elective operating theatres in a separate area of the theatre complex. Elective clinics are performed at the main site and community hospitals (West Berkshire Community Hospital and Bracknell Healthspace).
